Located on the 6th floor of The Tanner Hill, Joyous Circle Day Care and Training Centre provides holistic quality care services and cognitive trainings to senior citizens who are suffering from moderate to severe disabilities and/or dementia. Services include day-to-day living support, social and recreational activities, and rehabilitation trainings, so as to provide comprehensive and continuum of care on physiological and psychological, enabling them to age-in-place in a familiar community.
In May 2023, we are recognized as "the Winner of Day Care Centre - Facility of the year" by Ageing Asia at the 11th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards, also known as the "Oscars" in the eldercare sector.
The Centre mainly provides comprehensive caring services to senior citizens in the community. The Centre formulates personalised caring programmes to address the health condition and actual needs of each senior.
The Centre opens from Monday to Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm, which offers flexibility for families and caregivers to bring their senior members to the Centre for receiving day care and cognitive trainings within the service hours, which helps relieving the pressure on family members and caregivers in taking care of their senior members.
Service Highlights
- Care and training support provided by a multi-disciplinary team consisting of nurses, social workers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and care workers, to facilitate seniors to maintain their best mobility, explore their potentials so as to enhance their living standard;
- Light breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea are considerably designed by dietitian to ensure a balanced diet and daily consumption requirement is met;
- Provide follow-up support to family members and caregivers to relieve their caregiving stress.
