Application Procedure

  1. Submit the completed application form to Residential Care Home for the Elderly by mail or in person
  2. Residential Care Home for the Elderly arranges assessments for the applicant and his/her family
  3. Residential Care Home for the Elderly informs applicant about the assessment result
  4. Qualified and accepted applicant arranges medical examination by himself/herself
  5. Residential Care Home for the Elderly arranges applicant to move in

  • MTR: From North Point MTR Station Exit B4, walk straight towards the hill via Shu Kuk Street for about 2 minutes.
  • Tram/Bus: Get off at King’s Road (Shu Kuk Street) station (Sunbeam Theatre). Then, walk straight towards the hill via Shu Kuk Street for about 2 minutes.
  • By car/taxi: Drive to Tanner Road via Kam Hong Street, and then turn right to Joyous Hub car park on 2/F. Hourly Charged parking spaces are limited. Please contact the centre before you visit to register your car plate.

Elderly Resources Centre

The Elderly Resources Centre (ERC), the first of its kind in Hong Kong, was set up by the Hong Kong Housing Society in 2005. Through education, health screening, professional consultation and research by Occupational Therapist and Social Worker, ERC aims to promote the concept of “age-friendly home” so that “ageing in place” can be achieved.
