Joyous Circle is a renowned elderly facility owned and operated by the Hong Kong Housing Society. The facility strives to provide quality residential care home services, day care and rehabilitation services to senior citizens, especially to those dementia members in our community, in building an independent, dignified and rewarding lifestyle.
The facility is located on the 6th to 9th floor of The Tanner Hill in North Point, near the B4 exit of the North Point MTR station. The facility includes 3 types of elderly services, namely the Residential Care Home for the Elderly, the Day Care and Training Centre, and the Rehabilitation Centre.

Located on the 7th to 9th floor of The Tanner Hill, the Residential Care Home For The Elderly (“RCHE”) provides one-stop quality services to residents, which includes nursing, personal care, rehabilitation and counselling, taking holistic care of their wellbeing physiologically, psychologically, socially and spiritually in realisation of a carefree, independent and respectful lifestyle.
RCHE accommodates up to 117 residents across 3 floors with 18 rooms on each floor.
RCHE offers twin bedrooms and 5-bed rooms. Each room is equipped with electrically-operated beds, a stand-alone bathroom, private bedside curtains and other amenities. The interior design is aesthetically-pleasing, while balcony is available in some of the rooms.
Located on the 6th floor of The Tanner Hill, the Joyous Circle Day Care and Training Centre provides holistic quality care services and cognitive trainings to senior citizens who are suffering from moderate to severe disabilities and/or dementia. Services include day-to-day living support, social and recreational activities, and rehabilitation trainings, so as to provide comprehensive and continuum of care on physiological, psychological, social and spiritual wellbeing to seniors, enabling them to age-in-place in a familiar community.
The Centre mainly provides comprehensive caring services to senior citizens in the community. The Centre formulates personalised caring programmes to address the health condition and actual needs of each senior.
The Centre opens from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm, which offers flexibility for family members and caregivers to bring their senior members to the Centre for receiving day care and cognitive trainings within the service hours, which helps relieving the pressure on family members and caregivers in taking care of their senior members.
The Joyous Circle Rehabilitation Centre focuses on seniors aged 60 or above. Our experienced physiotherapists and occupational therapists tailor rehabilitation programmes for cognitive and physical care to the condition of each senior. With attentive care, our therapists at the Centre are dedicated to restore self-care abilities and life skills of seniors, as well as to enhance their quality of living.
Facilities and equipment
The Joyous Circle Rehabilitation Centre is well equipped with more than 210 types of advanced equipment, such as weight-supported walking machines, balance training equipment, shockwave and laser therapeutic tools, and functional electrical stimulation with active/passive ergometers. Besides, a multi-sensory room is particularly set up to provide sensory integrated therapy to dementia patients.
「尋找安老院是一個畢生難忘的經歷!記得當天帶她參觀雋康天地,本以為她又嚷著回家,殊不知她毫不躊躇地拖著護士四處參觀,意想不到的是在參觀期間又碰上她失散多年的學姐。也許是上天的安排,終於找到了她的第二個家!」葉先生道。葉老太已經入住雋康天地。一年多,比起獨居時,她明顯變得主動和善談,葉先生也恰巧退下職場,開始他精彩的第二人生。
「『飲茶』是我們一家的嗜好,湊巧兩位姨媽都是雋悦自住單位的租客,樓下的酒樓成為我們和親友閒時『一盅兩件』的好去處。自從上次的意外,媽媽需要定期覆診,雋康天地提供點對點的院車服務,屋苑又有室內停車場,即使滂沱大雨也不用擔心。」
葉先生表示,印象最深刻是母親在入住前,雋康天地安排了護士、物理治療師和職業治療師為她進行全面評估,社工更主動與他和母親會面,詳談母親的生活習慣、興趣和嗜好等,綜合各方專業的報告後,為母親譜出個人化的護理計劃和生活規劃。「專業團隊會適時向我報告她的狀態,讓我安心託付,從而投入輕鬆和多姿多彩的退休生活。」葉先生滿意地說。

Application Procedure
- Submit the completed application form to Residential Care Home for the Elderly
- Residential Care Home for the Elderly will arrange assessments for the applicant and his/her family
- Residential Care Home for the Elderly will inform applicant on the assessment result
- Eligible applicant who accepted the offer will be required to arrange medical examination by himself/herself
- Residential Care Home for the Elderly will then arrange the applicant for admission

- MTR: Arrive at Exit B4 of the North Point MTR Station, then head straight towards the hillside via Shu Kuk Street, about a 2-minute walk.
- Tram/Bus: Get off at King’s Road (Shu Kuk Street) station (Sunbeam Theatre). Then, head straight towards the hillside via Shu Kuk Street, about a 2-minute walk.
- By driving/taxi: Drive to Tanner Road via Kam Hong Street, then turn right to Joyous Hub car park on 2/F. Due to limited hourly parking spaces, please contact the centre prior to your visit for registration.

Cheerful Court Care Home
Located in Ngau Tau Kok, Cheerful Court Care Home is a private residential care home for the elderly operated by the Hong Kong Housing Society (HS). The care home is situated in Cheerful Court, which is an elderly estate under HS's "Senior Citizen Residences Scheme".

Jolly Place Care Home
Located in Tseung Kwan O, the Jolly Place Care Home is a private residential care home for the elderly operated by the Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS). The care home is set up inside the Jolly Place, an elderly estate under HKHS’s “Senior Citizen Residences Scheme”. Apart from receiving personalised nursing and care services, residents of the care home can as well take pleasure from clubhouse facilities, and enjoy themselves with an independent and rewarding lifestyle.

Elderly Resources Centre
The Elderly Resources Centre (ERC), the first of its kind in Hong Kong, was set up by the Hong Kong Housing Society in 2005. Through education, health screening, professional consultation and research by Occupational Therapist and Social Worker, ERC aims to promote the concept of “age-friendly home” so that “ageing in place” can be achieved.

Caring Engaging Smart
Housing Society Community was founded in 2003, while service of registered social workers was introduced in 2010, and Ageing-in-Place Scheme as from 2012 to facilitate elders of rental housing estates to live in the estates at ease while ageing. All these aiming at promoting mutual helping neighborhood and building harmonic community. In early 2021, upholding the three pillars of ‘caring’, ‘engaging’ and ‘smart’, we have formed a new team named “CES”.
